Alexis Lago

(Havana, Cuba, 1962) studied painting at San Alejandro School of Art, in Havana. He had previously graduated as a biochemist at the University of Havana.
His work has been exhibited in personal and collective shows in Latin America, The United States and Europe. Many of his paintings are part of private collections worldwide.

He has also illustrated children and youngsters book for prestigious Hispanic publishers (Panamericana Editorial, Santillana, Alfaguara SA, Everest).
Currently, he lives and works in Florida, United States
